pregunta sobre canon 400d

hola, simplemente queria lanzar una pregunta que me ronda la cabeza...
si una canon 400d tiene un aumento de 1,6x y se le incorpora un objetivo (ejemplo 70-300mm) ¿este aumenta su rango focal multiplicado por 1,6x?...me explico....seria 300mmm x 1,6 = 480mm...o simplemente se me a ido la olla...jejejej

Acertaste:aplausos(si lo comparamos con las clasicas de 35mm). Y si le pones un duplicador 2X se te queda en 960mm! (+/-)

Yo creo que más bien es como coger una fotografía hecha a 300mm y recortar la zona central. Aparentemente parece una focal de 480mm. Como siempre tiene cosas buenas y malas.

Hola a todos, esta es la respuesta que recibí en el Live Help chat de B&H, espero sirva de algo:

If I use a 300mm lens with this camera it will be in fact converted to a 480mm lens or the picture in fact will remain a 300mm but cutting the center and it looks like a 480mm?
TYRONE: Welcome, Jacob, We are reviewing your question and will be with you shortly.
TYRONE: The lens will still optically behave as a 300mm lens, but will be cropped to the angle of view of a 480mm lens. The depth of field characteristics will remain the same, but the field of view will be as if a 480mm lens.
