Yo le hice la consulta a Metz para mi Metz 60 CT-2 y me dijeron que sin problemas aunque todavía no lo he usado (peso un montón). No sé las diferencias que puede haber con el CT-4 pero, como entiendo que es superior al mío, supongo que tampoco los tendrás.

Dear Ruben,
please be informed, digital cameras of type Canon 350D are exclusively
loaded with a so-called E-TTL flash control which is still not supported
with your 60 CT-4. Unfortunately, true TTL usual with analogue cameras
is no longer offered by your camera anymore. Therefore, your flash unit
60 CT-4 can only be used in simple auto flash mode with manual settings.
For that the camera must be set in manual mode on the same F-stop and
ISO as used on flash unit (set on A mode). Unfortunately, any programmes
and Tv set on camera are not possible. For a connection of them we
recommend to use the adapter SCA3102 M3 with cable SCA3000C allowing
some other flash features like 2nd curtain sync, AF assist beam etc but
no TTL and no E-TTL. See also "SCA adapter" on www.metz.de.
For fully dedicated flash mode with your camera suitable flash units are
shown below "flashlight recommendation" (www.metz.de) such as 28 AF-3C
V2, 44 AF-4C V2, 54 AF-1C V2 and all 54 MZ units with adapter SCA3102
M3. Also, two new styled hand held flash units called "45 CL-4 digital"
and "76 MZ-5 digital" with E-TTL are in planning coming out at the
beginning of this year. See also www.metz.de.

Creo que no entendí por donde iba tu consulta, la mía (ver más abajo) iba por el tema de si se podía utilizar con toda seguridad ya que podían surgir problemas de voltaje aunque tenía claro que el flash debía ser utilizado manualmente.

Nice to hear that my camera will remain safe when used with my "old" 60 CT-2!
Anyway, I will pay attention about new E-TTL-2 hand held flash units.

Si, el modo estaba claro que manual, la zapata que tengo es SCA312/2AF, no se aún si me vale si me vale.salu2.
