tengo una camara de video canon mv6i mc, en la cual he tenido un problema con el circuito de la ccd, lo he llevado a serfoto y me lo han reparado, caro pero reparado, y mi pregunta es si alguien sabe como puedo encontrar el link donde canon españa indica que es un error de fabricacion y que la reparacion es gratuita. mire en canon y al mirar sobre la camara en cuestion me salio una ventanita que me indicaba mirar antes de seguir buscando informacion, me decia lo que os comento, pero no apunte la direccion y ahora ya no me sale de nuevo. alguien me puede ayudar? un saludo

It has been found, that in rare case, some of the CCDs, used in Canon digital camera and digital video cameras, have a problem that causes abnormal image output.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Canon will offer free repairs where an error is caused by this malfunction.

Canon would like to advise our customers of the details of this issue and our policy for handling it.

Problem details:
Among the CCDs used in the affected products, it has been confirmed that in extremely rare cases, under high-temperature/high-humidity environments, some of the internal wiring comes off.

If this defect occurs, the signal is not output from the CCD correctly when in shooting mode. This results in image abnormalities such as:

* Images do not appear
* Image colors are abnormal
* Images appear distorted

These symptoms can be confirmed on the LCD monitor.

Solution:
We kindly request users who have confirmed these symptoms to contact the nearest Canon Service Centre.

Free repairs will be made for affected products in cases where it has been confirmed that the internal CCD wiring has come off.

por si acaso te explico: dice que la solución es que lleves la cámara a al servicio (supongo que técnico) de canon más cercano y que si se comprueba que ese es el fallo, te lo repararían gratis. no sé si procederán a reembolsarte la factura. acércate y pregunta

gracias por la informacion. he pasado por canon en madrid-serfoto- y me dicen que les pase fotocopias de la factura y el papel del servicio tecnico, que les deje el numero de cuenta y que me haran la devolucion---¿¿¿¿¿?????? sorprendidiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisimo. a ver si es verdad. ya comentare el tema por si alguien le pasa algo parecido con el servicio tecnico de canon que sepa que se puede conseguir. la camara la compre en marzo del 2005. saludos a todos

Sigue valido este escrito? hacía como 2 años que no usaba mi camara y al ponerla en marcha me encuentro que unicamente graba voz i nada de imagen. En la pantalla unicamente detecta fuentes de luz y se ven rayitas. Si cierro la pantalla y miro por el visor, se ve lo mismo. Alguien sabe a que puede ser debido?

Sigue valido este escrito? hacía como 2 años que no usaba mi camara y al ponerla en marcha me encuentro que unicamente graba voz i nada de imagen. Yo estoy en las mismas. Solo que hace unos dos años, ya me daba problemas y me acerqué a Serfoto. Se lo comenté y me dijeron que el circuito del CCD me lo arreglaban gratis, pero que parecía que el motor de arrastre de la cinta también estaba averiado (puesto que al meter la cinta, daba error como que no la detectaba o era errónea y la expulsaba .... y te podías tirar como 15 intentos hasta que cogía la cinta). Y me dijeron que arreglar el motor de arrastre eran 130€. Le dije que sólo me arreglaran el sensor CCD, pero me dijeron que ellos como servicio técnico y dar una garantía o lo arreglaban todo o nada.
Asi que es dije que lo pensaría, y tras dos años, voy a ver si la vuelvo a llevar. No les comentaré nada del motor de arrastre y que por lo menos me arreglen el CCD. La camara me la regalaron mis padres, y la tengo mucho cariño, aunque hace tiempo que no la doy uso y la tenía sin usar.

Si al final, has ido hace poco, dime si te han puesto algún problema, porque en estos de de navidades que tendré un hueco quiero acercarme a llevarla.

Me respondo a mi mismo. Mirando en Canon.uk he visto el siguiente anuncio, que dice el fin de la fecha en que canon deja de arreglar el CCD gratis por fin de soporte del problema. Para la mv6i mc, el 30 de Abril de 2011. Asi que a darse prisa:
